Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Life Choices : "Life Choices is a safe, confidential, and FREE pregnancy help medical center offering factual information about all your options so that you can be educated and empowered to make the best decisions for your life." Our church makes monthly donations as well as participates in fundraising events such as the Baby Bottle Campaign. Additionally, we have a  team that takes part in the Walk for Life, with all proceeds going towards supporting Life Choices.

Food Pantry: Our food pantry is stocked by our members and serves the community at large as need arises. When someone calls and asks if we have a food pantry, we invite them to come “shopping” at our stocked shelves. We arrange for either the Pastor or a Deacon to meet with them to see what we can pray about for them. Also, a minister who lives nearby but pastors a Church in Mississippi comes regularly to get food because his Church feeds the folks in their community once a month

CEF - Manasota: "CEF®  Manasota is a chapter of the world’s largest children’s ministry, “Child Evangelism Fellowship”, a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living."

One With God: The Reverend Bob and Barb James introduced One With God to our church in 2016. "One With God is a Christian non-profit ministry based in Arlington, Tennessee that exists to Teach Pastors and to Feed Orphans in Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, India and Mongolia." With a monthly offering, HHPC provides the funds to Feed 80 Kenya orphans at a project called Mercy Mission. Offerings are also used to provide for the orphans’ 16 caregivers and to support housing, clothing and medical costs.

Wycliffe Bible Translator: "Founded in 1942, Wycliffe Bible Translators’ mission is to serve with the global body of Christ to advance Bible translation and work together so people can encounter God through His Word."

Reformed Theological Seminary: We have created the James Quillen Scholarship fund that is a scholarship for students in seminary. We contribute annually.

Memphis Union Mission: Every month, members of our church volunteer their time at the Memphis Union Mission. Following their service in providing meals, Jev Windham takes charge of leading the contemporary worship, while Pastor Tim Foster delivers a message to the congregation.

Help us fundraise our Trip to Kenya.

Barb and Bob James, along with Jev Windham and Pastor Tim Foster, will be going on a mission trip to Kenya to support the orphanage our church has adopted. 2. Their responsibilities will include leading worship, teaching the children, and providing training for local pastors during the trip. 3. The total cost for the mission trip is $3,000, with Jev Windham having already raised $1,000 towards the expenses.
